Purchased new in 1972 this was our family truck and was the first vehicle I learned how to drive with at 13 years of age. In 2011 we completed a full restoration with the help of Norm Green at Auto Image who did all the body and paint. With 57,000 original miles it is now ready for it’s new life as a ‘Sunday Driver’
This is the family ‘Grocery Getter’. Following a long line of Mini Vans we got this car which, although a Volvo Wagon, was ‘cooler’ than a Mini Van.
Our Boat which we use in the local waters around Vancouver. Power is a 5.7 L Mercruiser with a Bravo 3 Leg. Top speed is 60 miles /hour
The ‘Farm Truck’. When the 1972 GMC got restored, we needed an all purpose truck to haul all things that need hauling.
After 8 years and 200,000 km with the Volvo, it was time for something a little more FUN! Awesome performance. After all, it is a rear-engine six cylinder…a distant cousin of the Corvair?
